Here's an "Intro to Wiki"
Using a Wiki
- Edit this page by clicking "Edit" above.
- Every page can be edited.
- Setup
- We've currently got this wiki setup so that anyone can view the pages and anyone can edit a page by creating an account.
- This will leave us susceptible to spam and unwanted input, or even worse.
- We can change these rules at any time
- Knowledge Base
- What is a Knowledge Base?
- A knowledge base is a collection of information, dosucments, media - about a particular subject
- That is EXACTLY what is needed for these collected efforts. Not Huddles.
- The 29 groups and the workspaces
- Ideally each Group would have it's own workspace and knowledge base.
- I'll give the pbWki folks a call and see if we can get a multi-workspace wiki for free.
- For now we only have one workspace - so each group should set up their own 'section'
- what's a section?
- a unique set of pages - all tied to the same top "page"
- the top page is more or less the 'main menu' - or 'home page'
Here's some suggestions from pbWiki:
- Watch the Getting Started video. Invest 5 minutes, save hours in productivity each week.
- Invite colleagues into this workspace. Just enter their email addresses on the right side of this page.
- Ask each colleague to create a page or participate in a particular knowledge base.
- Send an email to the Ning network announcing the workspace.

Thanks, Marc for setting this up - all means to foster inter-group collaboration and transparency are valued. I would only ask that all groups consider the great opportunity in valuing authenticity, true inclusion and the smart integration of rich learning and best practices during this entire, exciting process!
